One amazing thing would be to be forced to find financial compliance in the future or face even heavier sanctions..
Points deduction for next season would be a strange one, and 4 not really all that severe for a club getting near enough 100 points every season.. We would always have the ‘you only won because of the points deduction’ if it was us that it helped.Modifying post.Comment

Financial doping is infinately worse than going into administration and the punishments below should be used as a the absolute minimum pelanty
In 2008
Three clubs start the Football League Two season with points deductions. Both Rotherham United and Bournemouth started the season on −17 points after exiting administration without using a Company Voluntary Agreement. Luton Town started on −30 points after a 20-point deduction due to exiting administration without using a CVA and a 10-point deduction due to illegal agent payments during transfers. This 30 point deduction doubled the previous record points deduction imposed on a club in 2007.Comment

I'd have no problem with that. 'You only won anything since 2011 because of massive financial cheating' is the easy comeback. One amazing thing would be to be forced to find financial compliance in the future or face even heavier sanctions..

Didn't they get investigated before and just had their squad size in Europe limited? Was there any suspended punishment for that? I really doubt they will get anything worse than a 1 season ban from Europe and a fine. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Also it has been suggested that any ban from Europe wouldn't be fir the coming season as there would need to be time for a City appeal...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Manchester City players have been filmed mocking Liverpool following their Premier League title win by singing a song which refers to Jurgen Klopp’s side as ‘victims’ and includes the line ‘Kompany injured Salah’. Pep Guardiola’s side sealed their Premier League victory on the final day of the season with a 4-1 win over Brighton. Liverpool, meanwhile, beat Wolves at Anfield but finished a point behind their title rivals. After their victory against Brighton on the south coast, City’s players and coaching staff flew back to Manchester to begin their title celebrations at the Etihad Stadium. But it has emerged that while on board their airplane, several City players sang a parody version of ‘Allez Allez Allez’ – a song which Liverpool supporters used in the run-up to their Champions League final last season.
