They wouldn't make bucketloads of cash from sponsorships if didn't had a big stadium.

The main reason to why they could spend a lot of money in the 90s is that they had a very big stadium. That started it all. After they got succesful the very big sponsorships was the next step.

If you don't have that then you can't even dream about building up a club to a top club if you don't have a sugardaddy.

They became big not because of the stadium, because Sky money kicked in, they had 6 or 7 bloody good kids come through together and a very good commercial team in the background. Put all of these together and you get success.

Without the success on the pitch they'd not be anywhere near as successful off it regardless of the size of the stadium.

City tracked Shakhtar Donetsk Fernandinho all season and the 28-year-old had made it clear he wished to move to the Etihad to improve his chances of breaking into Brazil’s World Cup squad.
His club inserted a buy-out clause of £42.5million

                  Soz but that's garbage.

You become successful and then build a bigger stadium, not the other way round. If we were playing in front of 80,000 every week - we wouldn't be in the top four as a direct result of that.

This has been around for a few days - **** player, stupid amount of money. There's two defenders at Real Madrid worth that sort of money - one is Ramos and the other is Varane.

Pepe is one dirty cunt I would love to see getting some rudimentary treatment from lower leaguers in the FA Cup.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
