He reminds me of Ben Doak actually. But Doak is still only 17, compared to Doku who's 21, so has more time to improve his decision making.

Looking at Doku's stats he hasn't really kicked on that much. He's still only getting a low number of goals/assists (6 goals and 2 assists in Ligue 1 last season is nothing special).

He'll probably be a success, because erm City, but it still strikes me as a possible mismatch.

Doku is a younger version of Adama imo, whether he improves or end up as **** and pointless as Adama ... we shall see. Another expensive squad player for City.

Already better than Traore imo. Not a very high bar granted, but he is at 21 only 9 senior goals for club and country off of what Traore has for club and country his entire career.

Far better dribbler than Traore and not reliant of just his pace to beat players.

His end product is not up there but then he only turned 21 this year. Would be a bit like giving up on Harvey Elliot now because he is not matching senior players.

Personally I do think that Doku is going to, at best, go the way of Sterling if he lasts at City but the fact he is equally comfortable on either wing and young does give him a chance to become a good player in years to come.

Would actually say that the biggest hurdle he has to overcome at this early stage of his career is now Guardiola as I rate Guardiola as generally being poor at developing young players unless that young player is already a generational talent level player.

Think Doku would have done better had he gone to a club like Brighton.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Hah I was just reading that!

Their schedule for October looks pretty punishing -

                  4th October
                  RB Leipzig (A)

                  8th October
                  Arsenal (A)

                  21st October
                  Brighton (H)

                  25th October
                  Young Boys (A)

                  29th October
                  Man Utd (A)

The next month they play Chelsea away then us at their place, then three days later they play RB Leipzig at home.

They had 37 shots on goal and 17 on target. I watched the game and it literally should have been 14-1 or 15-1, he's full of **** alright
