I reckon they chucked it to get some time off. Let’s face it the £100m for winning it is irrelevant to them.

The PL really has no excuse now for at least giving us an update on the process.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

I was thinking that. Not even a sense of pride

Pep was counting the ****ing charity shield as a trophy last year. No way he'd throw the game.

Pep promised, a few seasons back, that he would resign if City were found guilty of massaging their financials. I note he's changed his tune. Where is this report exactly - what's the hold up?
          Really?

Exactly. First the decision was to be made just after Xmas then at the end of season but meanwhile other Clubs have been dealt with but the biggest & worst case goes unpunished.

The CWC ends this weekend. The PL starts on the 15th August. They will be a laughing stock if they kick off the new season without this being announced. All the clubs who have been punished should take legal action against the PL, it is beyond ridiculous.

Probably agreed to pay a fine equal to the prize money they earn from the CWC

Competition they wouldn't have qualified for had they been punished already

City with a new kit deal, worth up to £100m per year. Our deal with Adidas is £60m/year for comparison.

How? I mean, if everything was above board and on a like-for-like basis, Puma revenue is less than 20% of Nike's, but they are handing out record deals at a time when the integrity of City is in question and by association, it could tarnish their reputation too.

I know the answer involves big brown envelopes of cash, but **** me, this is another blatantly overinflated deal to see them overspend again. Sickening.

It's on par with Real Madrid. A team that can't sell out their stadium has a kit deal worth as much as what is likely the largest team in the world with a capacity 50% higher than the lottery winners and we're expected to believe it's real

Come on now guys - if this breaks any Premier League financial rules they will be punished accordingly

Stories will surface in a few years...."A £1B donation was made, just prior to the announcement, to Puma's research division from an unknown Abu Dhabi based company"
