I'd welcome a nice top team implosion.

Tests have revealed that Manchester City midfielder David Silva, who limped out of Wednesday night's clash against Newcastle, will be out of action for three weeks.
Silva was forced off with a knee injury less than ten minutes into the Capital One Cup tie as a result of a rough tackle from behind by Ryan Taylor.
The playmaker will sit out Sunday's Manchester derby, City's encounters against CSKA Moscow and QPR and Spain's upcoming two fixtures: a Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus and a friendly against world champions Germany.

Man City boss Pellegrini:
The Chilean was asked whether it was true that Real Madrid had offered Di Maria to City, and he candidly admitted that was the case.
Asked why then they turned down one of the best players in the world, Pellegrini said there was a simple and logical reason:
‘That’s a very easy question, and you should know this: we had very serious FFP restrictions this year, so we couldn’t spend any more on players than we already had.’

They are using the rules to their advantage. I think its impressive how well they have skirted round the edges.
He has hardly made a massive impact for them, and if someone wants to throw that sort of money at a player who is well past his prime, then we should let them.
*Except Michael, who died.
