Real Madrid are playing pretty well at the moment, can't wait until they play City in three weeks time!

Ah. Savage spends his time on that show basically trolling the **** out of every caller.

              Trolling is basically Savage's default.

I was driving home from work when that came on, it was all I could do to keep the car on the road I was laughing that much.

There's quite a lot of 'he has a point' responses too. Obviously he doesn't believe what he's saying because he's not stupid, but he's clearly feeling pressure and is in a desperate place to come out with that in public.

Clearly, the concerns a couple of years ago were that City's financial dominance would effectively destroy the competitiveness of the league itself, and without another club receiving another huge injection of money, it was feared that that imbalance would continue. Even Pep himself looked embarrassed as his team won the FA Cup final 6-0. We have shown that other large clubs can break through City's financial dominance on the pitch by doing football well. So Pep, why aren't people as worried now as they were two years ago? Because those fears were proven to be unfounded, and the evidence is right there in the league table.

The fear was the league could be bought. Under no circumstances (no matter how hard people try) could anyone say we've bought the league, we've barely spent any money on players in the past 18 months.

It's embarrassing sour grapes and it doesn't do him any favours. He's clearly feeling the pressure.
