Made to look good by having Suarez around him.

Coady equalised for Wolves. Delightful if he ends their winning run after all the gimpery on Bluefume about his deliberate 'mistakes' playing against us.

        Won 4-1 ffs

Similar sort of canter to us last season. Grim.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Sounds like they were pretty **** and they still one 4-1.

It’s for the best. Pretty much all other options for the team winning the League were unacceptable.

They have had a fully fit squad (for the most part) and can interchange around 6 players every game (just look at their bench) so the sheer number of games in short spaces as well as lack of crowd/intensity has suited them to a tee.
Other end of the spectrum to us where we’re struggling to put out a team and can’t rotate.

When playing every other day, this is where their strength in depth really shines thru. If we had players left to rotate, i think we are the only club that could be pushing them close.

And yet nobody is arsed.....l.if we had a fully fit squad I still think we’d smash them. When they beat us at Anfield we were well on top before Ali lost his head. I think if we got every back bar our 3 CBs we’d have a cut off them in the CL because we don’t fear them

The other big advantage they have is no crowds - they don’t get one at their place and don’t have that emotional connection with their fans the same as other clubs do.

Rather them than United and given what they spend anything else is a failure

21 wins in a row is crazy. I suppose this is what happens when you have such depth of quality in your squad from years of splurging massive money. What it means is when they have injuries or need to rotate players out of fatigue etc they don't have a huge drop off in quality and don't compromise as much as the rest. There are very few teams who have this luxury.

I watched that City game last night. While they were completely and utterly dominant first half, Wolves came at them and caused them a few problems second half. City scored 3 goals in the last 10/15 mins (two goals coming right at the end). Without a doubt, a fully fit us would have run them close.
                      Are we winning?

I actually think most of their play is sterile with their ball possession game. They do tend to go through gears in games though, sometimes frighteningly so. Of course, lack of injuries and a squad with a bit more depth than us helped.

They make much better use of the ball in dangerous areas assisted by the shear number of bodies they manage to get in the box. It's a confidence thing, innit. They are just flying.

Their run has had massive psychological assistance too...

Opposing managers vs City: Ok lads, just hold on and hope for the best.
Opposing managers vs Liverpool: They've got no facking defenders! Their best midfielders are playing CB! It's now or never! Facking get at em!!

I notice that one or two players will make sprints into the box or on the overlap, really not rocket science.

they just have an amazing squad and real strength in depth Last night for instance, they had a bench containing Foden, Gundogan, Stones, Aguero, Zinchenko, Torres, Fernandino.

Pretty much all eventualities covered there and so many options.

That allows him to keep them fresh as **** so when someone has a bout of the two-bob-bits or whatever, he can change pretty much any player and there isn't a drop off.

Dias has been a brilliant signing for them as well. They have 3 very good center backs now - which was their weak point before.

I do believe next season will be brilliant fight again if we can get our players fit and have a proper go next year. I'm hoping that seeing City lift the trophy will make LFC dig deep again.

Just hope that City don't win the CL this year. Christ they'd be unbearable.

I think so, and I also think that Chelsea will be well in the mix next season now that they have removed their main stumbling block in Lampard and replaced him with a more pragmatic manager who actually knows what to do. Even if they buy nobody else, which we know will not be the case, they have some serious depth to their squad and it is depth in quality as much as depth in numbers.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
