    He's even older than Modric!

Talking of van Bronckhorst, I didnt realise he'd joined our coaching team

They do have a history of big names - van Bronckhorst, Aubameyang and Oxlade-Chamberlain

They are trying to flog Martinelli and bring in a big name but they can't.

Will all depend on injuries again imo. And how well Gyokeres settles.

Front line of Saka, Gyokeres, Martinelli, Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Maduke, Nwaneri is good strength in depth imo but first choice attack definitely not as strong as ours.

Yep it's a good, balanced squad now - just feels that they'll never properly challenge unless their manager changee, though

He's capable of it, I think I read Arsenal's highest goal tally of the PL era came under Arteta in 2023/24, but he seems all in on the shift to maximising control so that would be a bug change in mindset back to the more fluid, transitional style he previously used

Their first 11 is pretty good imo.

Midfield of rice, Zubamendi and Odegaard looks very good. With options like Merino too.

Saka is excellent. And their defense is good too.

Maybe he can feel the rope the fans would like to put around his neck.

All they talked about last season was how the lack of a fit striker cost them the League blah blah blah & here we are getting deep into the TW & they’ve bought a CM to replace Partey & quibbling over pennies for Gyokeres

Thought that was a clever pun on him buying Madueke!

Yep me neither - thanks for the clarifications

Regardless, an ugly situation for Arsenal, though not one I'm confident we would handle much better, to be honest

It came and went in the time between the end of the season and preseason.
