Arsene Wenger....take a bow son, a truly great manager and his team of invincibles was a true joy to watch, even though that pains me to say seeing a club like Arsenal play such pure football. Haven’t seen anything as pure since and he should be given the very highest accolade from that club, he deserves it.

Their fans would never accept Rodgers as manager, they'd keep quiet if things were going well but as soon as there was a bad patch (and there would be) they'd be calling for his head.
They need a manager who their fans actually want in the first place and that isn't Rodgers, Ancelotti isn't a bad shout.

its kinda like having to follow alex ferguson at old toilet, any wobbles and the knives would soon be out.Originally posted by ~LFCHistory~ View PostTheir fans would never accept Rodgers as manager, they'd keep quiet if things were going well but as soon as there was a bad patch (and there would be) they'd be calling for his head.

at least wenger had lost a fair proportion of the fans support so its not like he has been winning the league every year, so maybe less of a bumpy ride for the new boy.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

There is someone available...Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostI feel, what with Arsenal being in the capital of England, that Arsenal have a duty to bring an English manager.

Seriously though, I wonder if Eddie Howe is ready for the step up? His ethos certainly fits that of Arsenal.Was muß, das muß.

It'll be interesting to see what happens there, how much money will they give the new manager and what he can do in terms of convincing people such as Ozil to stay. It feels like a decent rebuild to get them back in the top 4. (Which I hope they don't manage
)
I don't want Rafa to go there for purely selfish reasons.Rodgers I'm unsure about he did well for a time with us but there were certainly flaws there. Maybe that has improved since he left or maybe not. I thought he had potential to be a good manager, but maybe that the job with us came a bit early for him.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
