Rodgers would be great, Joe Allen & Ashley Williams are already excited; as is Scott Brown (& half the Celtic team) ;o)

There are decent players there to build around, Ramsey, Auba, Lacazette and Özil. Probably a big transfer fund as well, they need to buy well in defence and midfield though and probably buy a new keeper. But if they get Ancelotti he'll get the right players in more than likely. He'd get them on track within two years or so, hope Rodgers gets itOriginally posted by Kenneth View PostWould make a lot of sense if he fancies it. Settle them into a post Wenger era and hand over to someone for the future after a year or two. As opposed to the utd approach of appointmenting a useless failure. Might help repair their squad a bit too.
Vieira has been mentioned but that's too soon I'd have thought.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Depends if has learned from our experience. But I do think that his character would hinder him from being really successful at a really big club.Originally posted by Alex View PostAs much as I want to laugh at ol Brendan. I still think he gave us some great memories.
They could do worse than Rodgers.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

i still think Brendan is a good manager. Probably not elite but definitely not ****e.
I wonder if they go for someone left field like Julian Nagelsmann and try and be clever. That could spectacularly fail and then they go spinning around manager has-beens after a few years. Something like United are doing.
So that's Chelsea and Arsenal looking for managers in the summer. There are quite a few with perhaps PSG and Barcelona. Not to mention Everton.

I feel, what with Arsenal being in the capital of England, that Arsenal have a duty to bring an English manager.Originally posted by labourRed View Post
