I’ve seen the nutters arguing on social media that it doesn’t touch his arm, beneath clear, isolated, slow motion, close up footage, that clearly shows it touch his arm.
The willful ignorance is absolutely staggering - tying themselves in knots to ignore the evidence of their eyes. I’ve seen crazy football supporters over the years, but this is bordering on mass hysteria.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.

It’s insane. It seems like in the event of not winning the league again, they’re preparing a case of ‘evidence’ that they were robbed by officiating decisions and that really they are the rightful champions and that the whole season has been an agenda to prevent them from winning it..

I watched viaplay and they only really showed the angle towards the goal where is looked like it might have been off the stomach. Once the denial is out there, I guess some are embarrassed to back down.Originally posted by Mark79 View PostI watched the Sky broadcast and it was clear as day in the angles shown in the replay while it was being reviewed.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

So at the seasons end the club will write a book about it & it’ll have no title. Is that what you’re saying?Originally posted by Mark79 View PostIt’s insane. Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I know Arsenal fans have been mad the last couple of years but this handball is a really strange thing to completely lose your **** over. It's as clear as day that the ball hits his arm and we all know that any goal where the ball goes in off your hand/lower arm is going to be disallowed but the huge number of claims that it didn't touch his arm and that it wouldn't have been disallowed if it was us at Anfield is baffling. Every week they don't win it's supposedly because there is a conspiracy against them. I think there have probably been other decisions that have gone against them that the could take offense at but going all in on this one seems crazy to me

I had an Arsenal supporter tell me I was a disgrace and "everything wrong with Social Media" on Bluesky yesterday, for sharing a clip with him that showed the handball clearly. He said 2 of the angles showed it didn't touch his arm and only 1 did, so they should've stayed with the on field decision. All I did was ask when the rule was introduced that said contact had to be visible on all replay angles, and why he was denying the evidence of his own eyes.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI know Arsenal fans have been mad the last couple of years but this handball is a really strange thing to completely lose your **** over. Absolute madness - had loads of it on socials with them yesterday. It's one of the strangest football things i've ever encountered. They were absolutely convinced that it should have stood, and not just a few of them. Properly losing their **** at anyone who disagreed with them.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.

It wasn’t even going in if it didn’t hit his hand. It’s a good sign that they are losing it this much tho. I also felt the full time celebrations after they beat Spurs were way over the top, similar to last season. We seem a lot cooler.Modifying post.
