A terrible descision by Oliver & worse from VAR not to interveen; there is litteraly no point in VAR if they let that go.

Still dead funny it was against Arsenal; has X imploded yet ?

ok just seen it thanks to Kenneth.

clear yellow. how on earth is that a red? seriously these refs are useless. var should be having a word there even if its just to save face for Oliver.

Interesting to hear from the ref on that. Was it dangerous, ie top of the foot, or a goalscoring opportunity? Surely not the latter.

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Serious foul play is the reason. It wasn't obviously. Funny though, even more so if they drop points.

I'd usually agree but its so bad its inexcusable. doubt you'll find anyone who thinks that is a red so why hasnt VAR sorted it out?

its why i never buy the corruption claim. They're are just plain bad

It's only funny (to me) because of the woe is me Arsenal shtick.

10 V 10 and arsenal 1-0 up, so probably immaterial anyway.

I'm happy it was a red. I just wish all the ****ty deliberate cheating fouls like it were red too. Zero attempt to play the ball, zero sympathy for him.

Nowhere near the ball so the intent is clearly to foul. The contact started on the shin and went down onto the ankle and top of foot, whilst the opposition player was sprinting. The speed increases the momentum of the impact so it would have been quite painful and there was a risk the player could have been injured. As such it could be seen as reckless. I am available for VAR for all Arsenal games. Good process etc etc

Yeah, he definitely caught him high up the calf/shin with his studs so it’s unlikely to get over turned. You can see Oliver has a clear view of the contact.

I think it’s a bad challenge and a cynical one. But if this is a red, there should be 5 red cards a game

And that’s ok if that’s the case, as long as there is consistency - which there won’t be

But I was glad it happens to the Arsenal and just a pity it didn’t cause more dropped points, just to see the fume
