Not that I want City to win it either really, but aside from us winning the league, it's hard to imagine anything more entertaining than this Arsenal team with this manger playing this way ****ing the whole thing up.

You could say city didn’t have their first choice CB pairing with Stones and Dias not available.
How many players have Arsenal got in their squad, how much money have they spent now. Arsenal just play 4 CB’s so what does it matter who plays there. They don’t have fullbacks.

That being the case, then I find the mindset of the players fans and pundits bizarre. They are almost admitting defeat, making excuses and prepping for dissapointment. We’ve been there also with City numerous times and I feel we collectively kept our cool online and offline and never assumed anything. Swallowing dissapointment.Originally posted by rudedog View PostI think he means he doesn’t understand how the clip you’ve linked relates to the statement you made with it.
With them, you can smell the fear and panic across every element of the club.
If I were Keown I’d play it much cooler than that, but clearly he too feels the panic. ‘We’ve lost our right side’ - that’s the sort of chat for justifying why you ****ed it - not for now. I just get the overriding sense from them that they think they lost the league yesterday when there are still 5 games to go.
They thought they had it all but won (another mindset I find perplexing) however instead of pulling away they have stalled. They are in their own heads and it seems to be unravelling in a similar way as it did with us with Brendan only for them it’s the third time (they never bottled it last year - they never challenged properly).Last edited by Buzzo; 20-04-26, 04:23 PM.
