I watched the Sky broadcast and it was clear as day in the angles shown in the replay while it was being reviewed.

I watched viaplay and they only really showed the angle towards the goal where is looked like it might have been off the stomach. Once the denial is out there, I guess some are embarrassed to back down.

I’ve seen the nutters arguing on social media that it doesn’t touch his arm, beneath clear, isolated, slow motion, close up footage, that clearly shows it touch his arm.

The willful ignorance is absolutely staggering - tying themselves in knots to ignore the evidence of their eyes. I’ve seen crazy football supporters over the years, but this is bordering on mass hysteria.

However surely Partey is off in the summer for one reason or another.

Don't overestimate the capacity of the UK's legal system. The backlog of cases like this runs into years. And nobody has even been charged yet.

Meanwhile Arsenal are totally happy to keep playing the player in question.

It's a right old shoddy situation for everyone involved and many thousands more who find themselves in similar circumstances.

I genuinely can't get my head around that ****, blows my mind. Who in their right mind watches that?

And the fact that he says it's not a hand ball, proves he's just playing to the audience. Anyone who is actually there, in the moment, immediately panics and calls a hand ball, even if it isn't. Calmly saying it isn't, is just trying to bank some controversy for ratings.
