100% if you're going to train snide into your team, next step is to injure opponents with snide.

Just waiting for their defenders to adopt the judo throw defending technique.

If Arsenal concentrated more on playing football and tactics and less on cheating, falling over, time wasting, blocking and the other dark arts that seem to make up how they play then perhaps they wouldn’t spend every weekend bitching about injustice. You reap what you sow. I’ve zero sympathy.

If you are going to do a late cynical challenge, don’t do it studs up with a straight leg

I think the combination of it being high, studs up, so late (look how far away the ball is) and a cynical foul to stop a break I can see why it could be given as a red. It's a yellow were it just a trip

the 'challenge' on Endo is worse. seriously which of the two deserves a red?

I think it’s a bad challenge and a cynical one. But if this is a red, there should be 5 red cards a game
And that’s ok if that’s the case, as long as there is consistency - which there won’t be
But I was glad it happens to the Arsenal and just a pity it didn’t cause more dropped points, just to see the fume

Yeah, he definitely caught him high up the calf/shin with his studs so it’s unlikely to get over turned. You can see Oliver has a clear view of the contact.Originally posted by Catrin View PostNowhere near the ball so the intent is clearly to foul. The contact started on the shin and went down onto the ankle and top of foot, whilst the opposition player was sprinting. The speed increases the momentum of the impact so it would have been quite painful and there was a risk the player could have been injured. As such it could be seen as reckless. I am available for VAR for all Arsenal games. Good process etc etc

I'm happy it was a red. I just wish all the ****ty deliberate cheating fouls like it were red too. Zero attempt to play the ball, zero sympathy for him.
