They don't cover it though. Both leave the space in front of the back four too exposed by running forward and getting involved in play. A disciplined DM would make a massive difference for Arsenal."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

They're one of the few teams who don't roll over for the Scum, so no matter who plays for Arsenal on Sunday they will at least go for the Scum...Originally posted by Chazza1978 View PostVermaelen has got a knock and is doubtful for the weekend.
If he is out then they might as well not bother traveling to Utd on SundayThanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Not only does Nasri look like a raging lezza, he also sounds like one.
Vermaelen is a big loss to them. He's Arsenal's Agger - class when fit but isn't hardly ever available.
United will stick three past them this weekend.

Apparently they've bid £6m

I just expect them to get over run in midfield and now have defensive problems if Vermaelen is outOriginally posted by Nick77 View PostThey're one of the few teams who don't roll over for the Scum, so no matter who plays for Arsenal on Sunday they will at least go for the Scum...
They are without Song, Gervinho, Frimpong, and Wilshere, in midfield, the could line up with Ramsey, Lansbury and Rosicky in CM
An untried full back who is likely to get torn up by either Nani or Young
And Howard Webb is reffing
I would love them to get something but cant see it

I think they will score more than fourOriginally posted by Shaggy View Post4-0 Mancs I reckon
7,8 - 0 isn't impossible. Can see Scum getting at least one penalty and Arsenal at least one player sent off.

I think it will be a better match than most anticipate - key is whether Arsenal try and attack down the wings, like they did against us, which I think will be ineffective (as it was last weekend) or try and me more direct centrally. United's CMs are defensively suspect and I think teams who look to exploit that will prosper (albeit they might have to do very un-Arsenal things like shoot from the edge of the box rather than tippy tapping the ball around the D pointlessly)."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I agree. Don't think it will be as one sided as people expect. Mancs will probably win but there won't be much in it.Originally posted by Nick77 View PostThey're one of the few teams who don't roll over for the Scum, so no matter who plays for Arsenal on Sunday they will at least go for the Scum...

There arent many teams who go to OT with the capability and the willingness to actually win - Arsenal are one of them.
Someone told me they are 6/1 - worth a tenner.
