I like to play with great players and it's a shame.

Christ almighty, he is absolutely ****ing dire defensively and isnt good enough going forward to get a wing role. Amazing.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          Yes he is.

They apparently paid £6million to get him from Fenerbahce.

Andre Santos to Arsenal? If Arsenal fans thought Clichy was shaky defensively at LB, he's Maldini-esque compared to Santos.

Its got to be a left wing option surely. But it is Arsene Wenger!

                oh dear Gervinho

Someone needs to reassure him of the Big Gap. Quick before the door hits his arse.

I reckon Arsenal will still be top 6 this season once they have their main players back but no way will they be a top 4 side. Can't wait until Man City play them. I'm guessing 20-0.

They don't play them until December so no way would it be 20-0. Us, Chelsea or City probably would have put a good 5 or 6 past them at home too. People being a bit too harsh on Arsenal...

                        1. United at Old Trafford is the toughest fixture
                        2. United attack full-strength (i.e. no injuries)
                        3. IIRC after injuries/suspensions 8 of Arsenal's best 11 missing. (when did that last happen to any team?)
                        4. Haven't replaced Nasri/Fabregas/others yet
                        5. Howard Webb.

Yes...no way would it be 20-0.
Be ****ing realistic......say 14-2 (usually good on the break, Arsenal, so they'll get a couple chances)

Seriously though, and I know a few lads have commented on it, its part of the reason why there was some doom and gloom surrounding the match thread for the Arsenal game the other week.
Yes Arsenal were somewhat stronger, certainly defensively, against us, but it was the fact that they looked to be there for the taking, and I firmly believe that if we had of started with a setup similar to what we had out against Bolton, we would have walked away with a much more comfortable result.
They were vulnerable that day, and secretly, I think a large portion of us fancied a win that day (doubt only crept in when the team minus Suarez was announced). We expected a win, we should've won given the relative state of the teams, and in the end, we got a win. People can point to the sending off, and of course that had an impact, but Kenny's late introduction of Suarez and Raul (and subsequent pressing) was the missing link IMO.

We're talking about a team known for their lack of mental resilience and suspect discipline (both from a physical standpoint, and from a less than perfect tactical approach to games, especially against stronger opposition). Yes we were all surprised by the ManU score, but I don't think anyone was surprised with the hiding dished out against an even weaker team than we faced.
Wenger went into the game without any kind of a plan, and done nothing during it to stem the flow or respond to ManU impressive pressing and quick football throughout the entire game. And that's not even taking into account the high line which was continuously being ****ed by ManU balls over the defense. Amateur isn't the word, but we all know the route of Arsenal's problems, even if we have trouble understanding it.
Cahill will join up in the next 48 hrs I'd say, but other than him and the Korean lad, its very difficult to say with any certainty who/if anyone else will be in until January, other than some opportunist, out of the world signing which is sorely needed.
I've always had a lot of time for Arsenal considering my father (who lived not far from Highbury for a few year) and brother are lifelong supporters, so I developed an appreciation for what they bring to football and their history, but right now, I say ****' em.......Its only a pity we can't drag them into Anfield next week and give them a good kicking.

I think 3 points was good enough and we were the first to really hurt them while they still had some confidence. The Arsenal situation actually troubles me as I hate Chelsea and City for their buy success approach and I obviously have no time for United which leaves Arsenal who are a good club with a good manager and have done everything in the right way (financially) and it's horrible how all these players that made a name for themselves at Arsenal are ready to **** the club at the drop of the hat. I respect Fabregas' position but the rest are utter scum and I hope Nasri breaks both legs.

Arsenal as a club are trying to do the right thing while the owners and players are ****ing them up. Gervinho needs to shut his mouth.

I thought he was crap too but he's really improving. Did a great piece of analysis on MOTD at the weekend about Downing.
