I agree. IMO any pub talk or forum talk is fair game, I don't understand why people get upset about criticising players/managers on a forum. But, as you say, to make the effort to create that banner and take it to a match is really poor. You are supporters, so support. Save the criticism for the pub or the forum.

I'll be delighted if they ever sack Wenger, I think it will be the start of a fairly major decline for Arsenal.

That decline started when they sold Henry.

Arguably when Abramovich arrived in the PL. In some ways their trajectory is similar to ours in the sense that Rafa and Wenger both over performed given the resources they had but in the end that isn't sustainable. Uniteds financial might has kept them in a strong position but even they have had to rely on old boys in recent seasons, when Scholes, Giggs, Ferdinand et al. depart it will be interesting to see how they cope.

everton should be in that list but they dont bug me all that much until we play them, manager is good with what he has to work with, but the club as a whole doesnt get to me like fcuk me off all that much.

Our main problem when we sacked Rafa was the ****e we replaced him with.

Getting rid of Wenger may well be a good move for them, but only if they replace him properly and I don't see many available candidates out there that might want the job.

In fairness the only players out of that list who've actually gone on to do anything of note are Cole and van Persie.

and arguable RVP was sold at the right time (ageing) and funded moves for Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud. Probabaly better for the long term future of the club.

Its great for Arsenal financially to be in the champions league every year but what use is it when they don't win a trophy for 7 years and the manager just shrugs it off. He doesn't seem to have the hunger he had when he first got the job. He is just happy to do what Stan Kroenke expects of him, develop young players and build the clubs finances.

Can't blame the fans for getting fed up with him, the hunger to win trophies just doesn't seem to be there with him. He has to win something this season (FA Cup) if he is to keep the fans on his side

Arsene's prime focus seems to be keeping things ticking along on the cheap to assist in paying off their stadium and development debt to get cash flow through the roof. Which is ridiculous for a manager, but it is what it is.

Its gone so far down that road it would be silly to sack him now, they'd be almost clear by now wouldn't they? Let him finish his plan and see what happens.

Their ambition to be self funding and viable is a great thing. I think its worth a few years of pain for them, they'll reap the benefits for decades.

I think it's possibly how Arsene see's it, rather than just being a puppet of the board.
