Lets wait until the end of the window and see what Arsenal do.. same as United. I just feel both will pull something out of the bag.
Possibly but Arsenal are in a position where we can laugh at them for now.
They were unchallenged on Jovetic for a while, almost dragging their feet until someone else came in.
Higuain should have been tied up without any doubt! That along with the Suarez one looks suspect, not willing to go an extra £3m(ish) is ridiculous. The £40,000,001 was desperate, with suggestions they went to £42m like it was going to make a difference
Also financially out-muscled by a team that finished in the bottom half in Germany
United knew all along Fabregas wasn't for sale, all information 'leaks' came from their end and the Baines bid again was pretty ridiculous, Moyes would have known roughly what Kenwright wanted.

I wouldn't go as far as to say we are in a position to laugh at them but after the **** they pulled with Suarez it is karma that they have lost out on some targets.
I'm not going to say anything about Arsenal or United as i do feel they will still sign some quality.

As I said, they might sign some quality but right now they haven't. Arsenal pull the same **** every season and it looks a lot worse this time around, especially after all the promises and talk about the money they have available to them.
Higuain.. Bottled it over £3m
Jovetic.. Dragged their feet until City came in
Gustavo.. Went to Wolfburg!
Suarez.. Bid a pathetic amount
Rooney.. Just speculation, not gonna happen
Michu.. Swansea stance quoted as simply "no"
Flamini.. Done them over and left on a free, back training with them
Everyone of those players would have improved them no end, so for now I will continue to laugh at them because unless they pull something big off, that is the most embarrassing summer imaginable. (except our Downing year )

Alot of the links were just as bull**** as alot of players linked to us, twitter and mouth piece journos. Arsenal have a lot of quality as is but definitely need a CF,CM,GK & CB ... maybe even a fullback. IMO they will address some of these areas & like every year they will challenge for the champions league spots.
They are competing in the champs league qualifiers, are financially sound, have some quality players at the club & have London as a pull. Every year we laugh at Arsenal, call them tight and slag Wenger off but yet they still finish above us.
I'd love for them to capitulate, same as i would United but they'll both be there and there abouts IMO as they always are.
P.S. Regarding Flamini, he really looked a talent before he ****ed off and robbed a wage in Milan. He was always more suited to the premier league and is only 29. He's only there to train anyways and clearly Arsenal aren't holding a grudge.

The thing is that we can't be sure the narrative we get is anything like the reality. The Jovetic thing could have been a lot like the situation with us and Mkhitaryan. It appeared like we had a good chance but in reality not so much.
I'm sure Neil has an analogy for this somewhere.
"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Arsenal are to make a move for Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, 27, after the apparent failure of their pursuit of Liverpool's Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan has apologised to his Anfield team-mates for trying to leave the club.
Only downside to that hilarious game against Villa is the fact that they will probably go out and make some buys now. Reckon they'll make another bid for Suarez? We've made it more than clear that we won't sell but they've got some cheek over there...
