The dose depends on the exact type of scan, but for instance something used just as screening like a whole body (neck to groin) CT would be 4-5 years worth of typical UK background radiation. So a not insignificant increase in cancer risk considering the lack of real potential benefits of doing the scan.Like blood on iron

That's the type of high quality background analysis that you just don't get on other forumsOriginally posted by Red_Polo View PostThe dose depends on the exact type of scan, but for instance something used just as screening like a whole body (neck to groin) CT would be 4-5 years worth of typical UK background radiation. Wenger saying he wouldn't have signed Kallstrom if he had another 2 or 3 days to do the deal.
really ****s me off that - they waited till the death to do it - they had a whole ****ing month, it wasn't exactly a 'mega' deal, he wasn't in demand, waiting to the last minute on this achieved nothing
just annoys me the transfer window and deadline day and how clubs leave everything till last minute
i can see the arguments in some circumstances.......the selling club are holding out for an extra few mill and you are trying to call their bluff or something
but something like this - it's not like Kallstrom suddenly became available at 5pm on the last day and there was a mad last ditch scramble by loads of clubs to sign himi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I agree with you it seems stupid that clubs have a month to do business but 90% of it gets done on the last day, they might as well just have a one day transfer window
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Probably but surely you would have a plan of possible signings and even if you didn't you wouldn't come out and admit signing a player was a mistake/panic buy and you would have done things differently 3 days later.Originally posted by Alex View PostIt was a reaction to Ramsey going down injured again mid week wasnt it?

oh fair enough - super fit and super strong ever reliable injury free ramsey who has struggled to stay fit for two years, just like his super solid centre mid partner wilshereOriginally posted by Alex View PostIt was a reaction to Ramsey going down injured again mid week wasnt it?
they (like us not dealing with our full back issues) must have thought at some point, way before january, we're struggling getting knocks in midfield all the time, what if any options are out there in january to give us cover...
someone has came up with the idea of kallstrom - i just find it hard to believe it was a last minute decision made two days left of the window.
they could have easily have looked at him weeks ago - it was never going to cost the earth, there wasn't any competition to sign so why not go for it early on in the window, then they would have realised he was crockedi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
