A caller into 606 made a great point. What is the point of qualifying top 4 when he doesnt even go and sign the players it supposedly attracts. I think his game plan has been sussed to an extent by top teams. His central mid was too lightweight for such a game

Not even sure its the lightweight aspect of it, they just don't seem to have the legs to compete. Our midfield without Gerrard is miniature but we dominated a massive Spurs midfield because we make up for it with energy. What are you really getting out of a central midfield of Rosicky/Arteta/Oxlaide-Chamberlain? Convinced Wenger has Chamberlain in midfield to try and emulate what we have with Hendo but he's simply not a long term answer there.

Really feel for Wenger, royally ****ed over by his spineless players yet again in a big game. He should call it a day now at Arsenal - done more than anyone ever expected of him and should try another challenge before he retires.

I would love to see that man with the CL for someone like Barca. He deserves to be amongst the all time greats and his philosophy fits perfectly at Barca (except maybe the winning trophies bit ).

He's been sporadically cuntish and bitter, but overall I've liked Wenger. I think he should get out of there now, he's done all he can. Go and enjoy the sunshine somewhere. Preferably with a water slide.

Atrocious selection for a game at Stamford Bridge for sure. I'd imagine Mourinho's mouth was watering soon as he saw that trio together. As they said on The Sunday Supplement, Wenger seems to spend no time preparing for the opposition, he just sets up his team how he wants them to be set up. Problem was that worked when you had Vieira/Henry/Ljungberg/Pires etc not when you have their current squad.

That's kinda how I view him. Far better than Ferguson or Moaninhio.

Am I the only one who was slightly suspicious at the performance of the Arsenal keeper at the weekend. Seemed to me he could have made an effort for the first one at least. Hmmm.

He certainly deserves to come into the side. Fabianski has been sound when called upon recently while Szczesny has been dire.

I don't think Arsenal will fall outside the top 4 but I do think they'll finish below us.

= they look like they've resigned to the fact that they won't win the league so have lost that fire in the belly that we, chelsea and city are all showing....so i'm convinced now they will drop away from the top 3 - but they'll do enough to finish top 4.
