    gillion

(rare) A thousand million, proposed as an alternative to the (now little used) British milliard and the (ambiguous, in the UK) US billion.
That rug really tied the room together.

      From The Independent's match report:

For the second time in two matches Danny Welbeck illustrated why his finishing is considered below par for a top forward by failing to convert a one-on-one with a goalkeeper.

With the match goalless and Arsenal under relentless attack, Welbeck managed to drag Aaron Ramsey's clever pass wide with just Roman Weidenfeller to beat.

It was a key moment and the £16million signing from Manchester United, who had other chances to open his Gunners account, only enhanced concerns over his record in front of goal.

Had he scored it would have been a grave injustice, however, given that Arsenal's back four were tormented throughout in a display that will see Arsene Wenger face renewed criticism for refusing to sign defensive reinforcements over the summer.

At times they were comically poor with Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker fully culpable, although they were offered little protection by Mikel Arteta, who was also exposed by the quick wits of Dortmund.

And in front of Arteta, Mesut Ozil once again drifted around aimlessly, contributing nothing until his second-half withdrawal.

        Oh dear.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Dortmund missed chance after chance, Arsenal fans are complaining it was as bad as Anfield and SB last year, Dortmund just finished badly.

If that's the case their striker doesn't deserve a 1.

You can't have every single player on the team play great or above, without exception, and everyone have average or below on the other team, without exception, and have that scoreline.

EDIT:// It does sound like I need to find a replay mind

Dortmund were awesome last night, they cut through Arsenal time and time again. Unbelievable work rate without the ball. Immobile & Aubameyang were outstanding, Mkhitaryan missed some sitters.

Arsenal were genuinely lucky not to get absolutely slaughtered. And Bild are being very very kind giving Merty a 4.

Wengers worst nightmare: to run out of excuses.
