    Just seen the result. 10-2

Just saw Wenger moaning about the ref after getting hammered 5-1 and at first thought he was talking about the first game as I didn't realise they played last night.

    10-2 is truly pathetic.

3/4 through after the 3rd and 4th goals....The crowd really is toxic over there at the moment.
Thats a cool idea for a vlog. He seems like quite a sound bloke, its not easy when you lose faith in your team.

Yeah, good watch that. He's clearly lost all love for his team at the moment

Evaluating the Arsenal situation is difficult, They are a well run club, they have sorted out the finances for their new stadium and the fact that they haven't overpaid/been held to ransom for players. The record of qualifying for the CL for 20 consecutive seasons (or whatever) is admirable but obviously fans want them to push on and win things such as the league or the CL. The fact that they have only won 1 trophy in the last 10 years must be an immense source of frustration for their fans. Wenger did a great job in the early years and the Chelsea/Man City money really changed the game for all of us and you would imagine had it not been for that maybe things would have been different for them, but you have to live with the hands that you are dealt.

It will be interesting to find out if the lack of spending is down to Wenger or the owners, I would love it if they got rid of Wenger and dropped out of the top 4 . It's easy to say that the top 4 is not enough when you are in it, but when you are outside it things are made much more difficult for you as we have found out.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Arse fans were fooled for a long time too, its only in the last 2 or 3 years their eyes have finally opened.

And yet Arsenal have been significantly better than us for the last ten years, in terms of trophies won and league position.

While it's looking increasingly like the end for Wenger, Arsenal fans should be hugely cautious on who replaces him, they could well get hit by a huge post-Wenger hangover.

In much the same way Ferguson left set United back 5 years, I can see Arsenal struggling for good few years.

Stability is so valuable in football clubs as the sum of the parts can continually be greater than the individuals. It might be a good long term decision as Wenger can't stay forever and if he isn't going to win now then they may as well rip the band-aid. I think it's all about who they line up to replace him.

we've craved stability in our club for years, the Arsenal fans might be a bit of a shock when Wenger leaves.

Id take Oxlade Chamberlain. He has been on of the few players that have impressed me at Arsenal since Xmas. He plays deeper than he has done in the past now, and seems to be growing all the time still as a player.

Would be good to get someone like him in, only 23 so he can be around for a while.
                            *Except Michael, who died.

I said when the first link came out, that I'd take him. He's a direct player with pace and power, English (quota reasons), and with additional games next year (as long as we're in Europe), we'll need more energy on top of Lallana.
