Thing is they need to prioritise as Torreira is just an exotic Spearing. And we never paid poor Spearing that sort of money.
    One tit for another.

Same with Utd right now - need to compensate for **** football by over paying - unfortunately for now Utd can afford it

Funny thing about Utd is that they're seemingly throwing all their resources at playing staff and ignoring the coaching set up. Can you imagine how exciting the prospect of learning from Darren Fletcher and Michael Phelan must be for top class players. £300k/week you say? Where do I sign?

Very interesting stuff about Arsenal, they are in trouble it seems, I always thought they were well run but it seems they are facing a steep climb back to the top four.

Our commercial revenue is still woeful compared to our profile

It will be interesting to see if our CL win has any impact on commercial revenues, I always thought we didn't really make the most of our last CL win, maybe because Moores was trying to sell.

Not anyway a proper analysis but if the Liverpool shop in Dublin is anything to go by we will - if you can think of it they seem to have it with some CL associated branding. And speaking to the staff there the stuff is flying off the shelves.

I got my kids gifts from there when I was in Dublin a few weeks ago.

I was impressed with the speed of how things were in the various stores this time around. The shop in Dublin was closed early on the Tuesday for "Stock Taking" and by Wednesday was full of CL stuff

Martinelli looks well worth a punt for 6m.

Arsenal have completed their first transfer of the summer with the signing of Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli.

The 18-year-old forward has signed "a long-term contract", the Gunners have confirmed.

Maybe our profile, when compared to the very biggest clubs isn't as big as you might think?
                          Oh I don't know.

Our profile, worldwide, is miles higher than Chelsea, PSG, Bayern and Man City. Only the two Spanish giants and Man Utd eclipse it
