The thing for me is that this seems to be the start of a movement against Arteta. They now only have the League and the CL to play for so face another trophy less season.

I’m not sure what Arteta has done to them? They used to play nice football, they are now all about set piece and cheating.
He brought all of the snide and none of the skill from his time at Man City. They barely create a chance in open play anymore, just all cynical fouls and play acting. I think if I was an Arsenal fan I'd want him out too, this is not what Arsenal are about at all, normally a side that plays good attacking football.

Anything is fine when there is a trophy at the end of it, but that hasn't been the case for Arteta. I reckon he's gone before the end of the season.

Rage engagement…..sigh, he’s a muppet blud, didn’t he move to America and is making decent money from this sham

Arteta has gone full Mourinho but even closer to Pulis. He spent almost 800m on big strong lads and plays for set pieces. It’s like he’s been more influenced by Moyes during his time at Everton than Pep

To add to that he is incredibly unlikable, all gimmicks, excuses and asking for more players. I didn’t mind Arsenal before but him and their “online” fan base would make you despise them. They took the piss out of us as bottlers but we won under Klopp, they’ve spent more and won f all.

They also hype the **** out of their players before turning against them - Saliba better than VVD, Saka better than Mo, Havertz better than Bobby…. and so on

Yeah it was completely telling that yesterday I was happy they went out to Utd due to the factors with Arteta and their supporters.

Arteta is so utterly humourless. I don’t think I can recall a manager so devoid pic personality.

The thing with Arteta is that a couple of years go (22/23 I think), his Arsenal team was pretty attacking and good to watch. Their collapse late in that season due to a soft underbelly seems to have really scarred Arteta, and he has overcompensated on control and risk management, trying to reduce the uncertainty & chaos in a football game, similar to Pep.

But he doesn't have Pep's players to do this as well as City, so they seem to have forgotten their attacking patterns, and I don't think Arteta is able now to go back to that earlier version, he's too invested in this current iteration of North London Stoke

He is. But it’s a sign of desperation when you are ranting after getting knocked out of the FA Cup about who they chose to be on the stadium murals

Not massively high on the ‘things to fix’ list.

The other issue Arsenal might well have is keeping hold of the likes of Odegaard and Saka if they are on a downwards spiral.

They’d be top 6 at present without that pair

Only really since the Wenger era, some of us are old enough to remember 'Boring Boring Arsenal' , '1-0 to the Arsenal' and all that
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

To be fair, their league position would be worse without his contribution

I dunno, there is something about questioning the mindset that Arteta has instilled in to them
