The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
As much as he annoys me, it mightn't be any harm should he stay.
Wasn't he training with Balotelli and Borini in isolation from the rest of the 'group' if he stays he could be in for a lonely year. Also he hasn't played much for the last couple of years if he wants his career to continue at a decent level surely he can't miss another year of football?

I agree. He's played 18 times in the last two seasons, and at 29 with some pretty serious injuries behind him you'd think he would be keen to go and get regular football elsewhere, particularly after being made to train alone.
Although saying that we are light on fullbacks. Gomez and Clyne have been brilliant so far and obviously we have Moreno, but one or two injuries or suspensions is going to leave us with little cover. Flanagan's still a good couple of months away yet too.

An Arbeloa-type would be well handy right now.
Agree. What's the plan if Clyne gets injured? Gomez as right back and Moreno on the left?
ilori can cover both full back sides and at also cb. we cannot let him go on loan as he will defo get time and might be a very handy lad to have on the bench.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
