I wouldnt bet on the Chelsea game full stop, because it could go either way - obviously Chelsea could easily win, but it's pretty open IMO. Could easily be any of the three possible outcomes, hence why i wouldnt bet on it. Halfway through a season with Chelsea in full flow, it'd be a different story. But opening day, teams need to settle down etc, and Stoke isnt an easy away game.

Opening day is a notoriously difficult one to judge, usually takes a few games to see how teams are settling down. I'd only be having a small fun bet, rather than anything serious at this stage.

Fair call mate, I agree its just one of those games, just seeing what you thought might happen. Dont plan on betting any big money on anything as it's too hard to pick especially as you said since it's the first game. Might chuck a few bucks on a Multi or accumulator not sure what you guys call it for a bit of fun.

Spurs first few games are shocking, and Everton at home was one of the few early games you'd put them down as strong favourites to win. And it's called off Poor 'Arry.

Spurs to be bottom three for the first month or so, would be quite comical.

I also think it could go either way but I went with a draw.

The best bet tomorrow in the PL or the Championship is probably Leicester. Reading sold their best player and Leicester is the strongest team in the league.

On Monday we have the big big banker when Man C will beat Swansea easily.

Looks like the journalists might not be allowed into the games tomorrow, some sort of dispute over media coverage?

How on earth would that work? They'd have to do their marks out of 10 without actually watching the ga....oh.

I think Chelsea have won all of their last 10 or so though.

Is that just the newspapers or is it TV reporters as well?

Got to agree Leicester are a great bet but think the value on Norwich to win away at Wigan is too hard to resist
