Does he want to stay? Presumably he'll want to play at the Euros in the summer, that may be difficult if he isn't playing regularly here. Which I can't see! Not that I think he'd be a regular at Chelsea either.

I wouldn't want to sell to Chelsea, but I don't really see a role for him

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We finally have deep bench and given that his playing opportunities, bar some serious injuries, will be limited I'd rather sell now when his stock is very high and use the money to get what we are in short supply like good quality CB or a striker instead.

I just cannot see him playing much this year.

Surely having a deep bench is good though?

Yea but we are overloaded in one area and quite week in others,we need to have a better balance.

                  Still baffles me that signing.

Most of us are still puzzled but still early days so we may be pleasantly surprised as the season is progressing.

He's one for the future but perhaps we jumped the gun too soon.

Top top signing. In 3 years he'll be first name on team sheet.

He may well be Bob, but there are weaknesses in the team NOW which could have done with £16m spent to strengthen them.

CB? Another game-changing player who we can use to score/break down teams if Suarez isnt doing the job/on the pitch?

We bid for Jones after Henderson had been signed, so I don't think Henderson has impacted on our desire the bring a centre back in. Gerrard can score & break teams down no (obviously when he is back fit)?

In 3 months I think our play will be all about ball rentention and playing more one touch stuff, integral to this is Henderson, he's so good in tight positions. He is much more suited to this style than some others on our books.

I think wages / wage bill is more the reason stopping our recruitment drive not the 16M on Henderson.
