To be fair Milner, Barry and Toure haven't been breaking forward too much either. It's just the front 3 doing well and causing problems.

It's very industrious and has great balance. De Jong is overrated, he doesn't move the ball very well and his tackling and mobility don't negate that weakness, Barry is much better playing his role and their passing is much more comfortable.
