Usual media gushing over Utd some people suggesting that they could beat Barcelona

If Spurs could have put out a decent central midfield then they probably would have got something from that game, Krancar and Livermore did ok 1st half but failed to compete after 55mins. Had Modric and Sandro/Huddlestone been playing then I don't think Anderson and Cleverly would be getting pronounced as the new Xavi and Iniesta.

I can see why people fancy City for the title, but the mancs seem to get away with any line up against most sides. Ferguson has an annoying knack of turning mediocre players into serviceable ones, and good players into great players. Can't really see beyond them winning number 20.

I agree. Teams are **** scared of united. Ferguson gets average players stepping up a level. His teams are always well organised, and they look good again.

From what i've seen so far (well 2 games in ) Spurs and Arsenal can't compete with united and look in danger of slipping away from the top 4 - We have improved but i feel we just lack a little spark - Chelsea look a bit better than us and have added Mata and possibly Modric so will improve - and United and City look the two strongest....But Ferguson VS Mancini gives United the edge

Yeah it's been said before, but if you put many of the XIs they select in other shirts at other grounds, they lose. The sum is far far greater than the parts.
