I think fat sam was straight charged not sure about Martinez.

    Comment

Isn't the difference in that fat Sam claimed that if the west ham player had been wearing a Manu shirt he would have got a pen therefore effectively claiming the ref was bias towards Manu.
DBF did not claim that the Lino was bias to any particular team just that he was **** at his job.

He said he gave Spurs everything but nothing to United, and gave United a poor decision last time too. Suggests bias to me. Either way its moot, Martinez was charged for calling the ref crap.

Yup that does suggest bias. Didn't hear him mention spurs only slating the Lino decisions.
He'll worm his way out no doubt.

            Fergie's FA inside man

Sir Alex Ferguson - who has been asked for an explanation by the FA following his rant about assistant referee Simon Beck after United's 1-1 draw at Tottenham on Sunday - has the advantage of Old Trafford club secretary John Alexander being an independent member of the FA disciplinary panel.

Alexander may not sit on any cases involving the Premier League but his insider knowledge of FA cases gives him a head start in the initial correspondence defending Fergie for claiming Beck had a 'shocking game' and suggesting he had a 'history' of making decisions costly to United.

The FA say they are happy to have Alexander on the panel - as they were when he was previously at Spurs - and do not regard this as a conflict of interests, although the 57-year-old executive is the only official from a Premier League club on the judicial roster.

And David Gill is the vice-chairman of the FA too.

Yes, but it is good that the likes of the hatemail are highlighting "favouritism" DBF enjoys

If any other manager had any sense or simply wanted to stir up **** they should could out with the following in their post match interview

"it was a clear penalty kick," (free kick or red card)
"But there was no way the linesman was going to give that - he gave them everything. He had a really poor game."

That would put the FA in position whereby they'd have to crack down on Damento or it'd be open season on all match officials.

Often thought exactly the same - just go out and mimic what he says word for word.

i say this often but i can't wait for ferguson to be gone and out of the game - a bully and a cunt who has the press and fa running scared of him - fair play to him like, if he was our manager we'd ****ing love him

It really ****s me off tho - he gets away with some sort of incident after virtually every game, certainly every game they don't win he ****ing kicks off, and they you hear about some of the links united have at the FA and their independent committees questions need to be asked but don't!

Out of interest - As i pointed out, virtually every time they lose or draw he kicks off and blames something/someone else

Does he ever do this when playing European games? i may be wrong but i can't remember too many ferguson referee complaints when they don't win in europe?

if i am right, it clearly points to knowing he has the FA in his pocket, but when it comes to UEFA he keeps his mouth shut

i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

He blames others to deflect the attention from his players/performance. Its a pretty effective tactic. How much of the season is spent talking about Utds style of play compared to incidents off the ball (Penalties/Fouls ect)? Not much is it.

                              - yeah fair play to him - he gets away with it

thats why i was interested to know if he tries the same tactic after poor results in europe?

I cant remember. Too be honest though there seems to be more contractual conditions with UEFA. I guess he doesnt want to go and **** with them.
