Lots of rumours linking 'Arry with the now vacant Forest Hotseat.

        1. Vacant managerial position

        +

        2. Rich Arab owners.

'Arry will be over it like a tramp on chips... As will Sven

Chairman Eddie Mitchell is refusing to be drawn about talk Harry Redknapp could take charge of Bournemouth - even if just on a caretaker basis.

The League One club are looking for a new manager after parting company with Paul Groves and his assistant Shaun Brooks on Wednesday.

It came less than 24 hours after the 3-1 defeat to Crawley which sent the Cherries fifth from bottom, with just one win from 10 League games.

Former Tottenham boss Redknapp recently returned to the south-coast club - where he began his career in management in 1983 - in an advisory role.

Redknapp and former manager Eddie Howe, now at Burnley, are among the early favourites for the job.

But when asked whether Redknapp could take caretaker charge for Saturday's trip to Coventry, Mitchell told Hot Radio: "We've spoken about the football club and the best way forward and Harry knows my feelings but I can't say much more than that.

"Harry is his own man and he's got the capability to manage at a club much higher than a League One club, but that's where we are at the moment, I won't believe he is interested in the job till I see him being interviewed in a car."

                      QPR TURNED DOWN SAMBA BID
Here's Harry Redknapp on a bid from Zenit for Chris Samba:

"We had an offer for Samba, right on the deadline and the chairman turned it down. It was for more money than we paid for Samba.

"The offer was last week - it was a massive offer to take Samba back to Russia. It was in the week that has just gone as the Russian window was still open. It was a big offer.

"The chairman asked me 'what do you think?' and I said 'it is up to you, it is your club, it is your decision'. I would have had no problem. I left it to the chairman. He came back and said he had turned it down and said 'get on with it'.

"The player probably spoke to the chairman but it was really important we kept him. It was really good for us. Had we had lost him, I would have had to have played someone else. That is football."

Appparently Zenit 'believe the deal would have complied with FIFA rules, but given that he's already played for two clubs this season, we're not so sure. Although obviously there are blurred lines here with the Russian season and whatnot.

                      Was muß, das muß.

I see that 'Arry has quite regularly palmed the responsibility of the transfers back on to the Chairman. When Samba joined, 'Arry explained that he just gave a list of players to him and the Chairman took responsibility for fees and wages that were to be negotiated.

Which contradicts that recent article about 'Arry not taking training because he was too busy in January 'wheeling and dealing'. Granted it was a ****e article, but I'm gonna use it as a stick to beat him with.

'Arry is or will **** QPR, like he has butt-****ed Southampton and Portsmouth and he'll ensure that his media-chums that the seeds of blame are on Fernandes.

Redknapp conned by pub potwasher for three years

Last updated Mon 7 Oct 2013

Harry Redknapp said the conman switched his allegiance to QPR when the manager made the move across London.

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed he was conned into paying for three years of dinner, match tickets and travel expenses by a man who claimed to be a jockey.

In a section of his autobiography serialised in the Daily Mail, Redknapp describes how a man who said he was top young jockey Lee Topliss turned out to be a pub potwasher with a way with words.

The 66-year-old said he felt sorry for the prankster, whose racing tips turned out "more losers than winners", and ended up buying him dinner and taking him along to directors' boxes at matches.

The "little Irish rogue" was found out when Redknapp's agent friend met the real Lee Topliss at a race.

"I’m told he was working the same racket with Liverpool’s Glen Johnson, plus a couple of football agents and other managers," Redknapp adds.

I see Harry is rocking the England managerial boat.

Claiming that he received texts from senior England players saying that they'd have loved him to manage England.....

...This is the same Redknapp who said during his tax evasion trial that '‘I can’t work a computer, I don’t know what an email is... I’ve never sent a fax and I’ve never sent a text message."

Claims Rooney and Gerrard both text him saying they wanted him to get the job and he had lined up Rodgers as his assistant.
