He was excellent. Defo got to be 3rd choice, his height is brilliant aswell as we arent exactly a huge side.

Would be good for both parties considering the little game time he get's right now. Coates have had a though time getting himself in the first team for 1½ seaons now and could use some more first team footy.Comment

I think something is up with Coates. I've thought it for a year now.
I know he appears to have the attributes. And I know he was player of the universe for Uruguay u21's or whatever. However, it made no sense that he didn't get more of a look in last season, and although that could be written off by that regime having lost the plot a bit, he also hasn't been getting the time on the pitch I would have expected this year either.
And now there have been consistent rumours of him going out, we presume on loan, in the next transfer window, despite Carra and some kids being our only cover at the back? I dunno, maybe he's not settling or happy in the UK, maybe the coaches are worried by what they see in training, something is up here to make me think this guy is not going to be what we were all hoping he was. For us anyway.
