Very interesting that everybody there cut their squad size down this summer.

have to say....I think Arteta for Arsenal is a terrible signing for both clubs...

It smacks of panic buy for arsenal and is clearly not really want they wanted....He's not so much a poor mans fabregas, but a poor mans meireles imo with a poor injury record and at the tail end of his career....

And everton have lost one of their only creative players
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

He looked good for them a couple of seasons ago but has gone backwards with form and Injury

Big pressure now on Ramsey and Wilshere to deliver goals from Midfield for Arsenal as Fabregas did at his best and Nasri did for the first six months of last season

I always thought that he just looked like a big fish in a small pond to be honest with you.

He was their only 'technical' player who looked capable of controlling the ball and playing a pass to feet - add to it he scored a few free-kicks and penalties and took corners.....And match of the day made him look like Zidane at times

He will be a loss to Everton...no doubt about it, because their squad is so void of quality - but i can't see him adding much to arsenal

I think the inclusion of young players going on loan overstates that trend.

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I think it depends how they play him. If he can sit and move the ball from the back it could be excellent for them. One Arsenals problems has been that everyone wants to join in attacks. At times for Everton Arteta has had to be very disciplined positionally - if he brings that to their team I think it will be a massive help to their other midfielders.
