    Fellaini’s Silver Afro Is Here

He is a man of his word after fulfilling his promise to dye his famous afro silver if Everton fans raised 25 grand for charity. Is it an improvement? It’s the Fellani silver afro

That rug really tied the room together.

You don't need silverware to be a winner, silver hair will do.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

And you didn't mention this convenient cop-out in your post.
He took over at Spurs in October when they were in the relegation zone and on a horrific run, I'd say that that first season doesn't really count in regards to his overall record at Spurs. Obviously you won't agree but oh well...

Read a fair bit of talk suggesting as Everton won't get any compo for Moyes, they are unable to poach a manager from another club as they can't afford to pay any compo due - hence looking internally.

                Stubbs

David Moyes confident his Everton FC successor could lie within

David Moyes says he would recommend members of Everton's coaching staff as his potential successor.

The Scot will sign off on an 11-year stay at Goodison Park when the Blues play their final game of the season at Chelsea on Sunday, before taking the reins at Manchester United next term.

Speculation has seen reserve team manager and former player Alan Stubbs emerge as the latest bookies' favourites to become his replacement while fellow coaches David Weir and Duncan Ferguson, also Everton on-field alumni, feature among the candidates for the hot seat.

Moyes has pledged to help chairman Bill Kenwright with the selection process for the next Toffees manager and the 50-year-old believes his backroom staff would be capable of the task.

He said: "I would always recommend the people who are around me.

"A lot of them know how the workings of the building is, how we move things forward and the restraints the club has, so it is easy for them to deal with that.

"If the chairman asks [me]... we speak a couple of times on the phone and if he has anything to say or wants me to help him, I will do so.

“I think continuity at every club is important. You can’t always just have a complete clean slate and start again," he added.

"But these are questions you need to wait and ask the chairman about when the time comes.”

Also departing Goodison this summer will be captain Phil Neville and Moyes is confident that the veteran defender will prove as great an asset in the coaching field as he did on the pitch.

“Phil Neville is a great man. He is someone who has been a great player and is a great ambassador for the club," he said.

"He is really, really good at what he does. He is going through his coaching badges just now and he would be a good choice for any club."

It's a pretty pointless stat as we were mainly **** when he was in charge. Despite finishing above Rafa in his last season, he doesn't come close to Rafa's average total. His highest points totals ever was 70, which Rafa comfortably beat 3 times. KK won more trophies in his short spell than Redknapp did there and nobody is going to take you serious if you compare him to Hodgson.

AVB also finished above us this season and I dare say Jol would have finished above us too in recent years, so it's as much to do with the position the club were in compared to ours as the manager IMO. Even if I do concede that he did a decent job there.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I agree with you that our decline played a part in Arry's success but the fact of the matter is Spurs had never finished above 5th in the PL era until Harry was their manager, they finished 4th twice with him, regardless of circumstances that is a very respectable achievement that will look even better if Spurs finish 5th this season.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
