Nobody knew the utd job was coming in and even less people thought moyes would get it so he would not of signed it with the intention of breaking it but it would of meant utd paying compo to them
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

But would you honestly expect anybody in any other walk of live to do that? Of course you wouldn't. Why should people who work in the football industry have to abide by a different set of arbitary rules to the rest of us?

And as for the timing, Fergie has said that decided at Christmas, and let's be honest, he chose his own successor. They are great mates, so I'd be very surprised if Moyes found out about it when the rest of us did.
      Oh I don't know.

Think Moyes knew he was getting the ManU job ages ago (probably up to a year back), and never had any intention of remaining at Everton.
What Moyes done wrong was to come out with such guff as 'he never intended to leave Everton, only when Utd's interest was confirmed'. Accurate, but disingenuous, as it seems to be suggesting its only something that happened a couple weeks back.

Everton didn't handle it well IMO once the news broke, and they were effectively allowing ManU's manager to take charge of their side's last couple of games. Should have asked him to step aside until his contract ended, but they appeared to be only to happy, along with their fans, to take it up the arse from their heroes.
Worked out great for ManU as well. No prolonged uncertainty re: managerial change etc, yet Everton are still pissing in the dark with such luminaries as Stubbs, Duncan, Weir etc etc.

Sure, Moyes is still Everton manager until the start of July, and where was he today ?
With Ferguson at ManU's training ground.

I'm not sure you can accuse Everton of handling it badly when they ended up pleasing just about everybody.

Apart from maybe a section of United fans, aghast at the prospect of Moyes managing them. But that was out of Everton's hands anyway.
          Oh I don't know.

            Know what you're saying dom,
I can accuse them all I want, as it is only my opinion. Like I said, they appeared only to happy, along with the fans, to be in this situation. But looking at it from the outside, we can only surmise it from our opinion of how I would like us to handle a similar situation.
But then, I'm a bitter individual, which ironically makes Everton's approach more puzzling.

              New title?
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Everton are a completely different club to us, with different expectations, finances, management structure, global appeal and just about anything else you could care to mention, apart from your bitterness maybe.

So to compare them to us is like comparing apples to oranges. So of course it would be handled differently by LFC. It doesn't make their approach wrong, quite the opposite in fact. They did what worked for them. And now they'll get a no mark manager to continue the mediocrity.
                    Oh I don't know.

I suspect that Moyesy knew that Fergie was going at the end of the year and it was arranged sometime ago that he would be the new manager as well.
It's also strange that Fellaini moved house to Manchester around Christmas siting the reasons that the Liverpool girls wouldn't leave him alone so he had to move. All a bit

Odds on Jurgen Klinsmann becoming next #EFC manager shortening tonight. Doesn't quite fit in with the"hard-working industrial club" quota

Klinsmann as Manager then Gillett buying the club would be wonderful.
