I think he'll do well which is unfortunate, maybe not long term because Kenwright will splash his change on acting lessons but short term I see them being decently improved.

They struggle going forward Everton, very much a long ball team and build from there.

Martinez has always struggled with defending but to be fair he's always had poor defenders but Everton seem to be strongest at the back.

McCarthy would be a good signing for them, I'd have liked him here over Allen personally but if Martinez changes formation they'll need an extra body in there.

It will be interesting to see how it will go. Martinez takes over a club and squad geared and moulded for a very differnt style of play than he brings, and it's really a question how many of the Everton players have what it takes to change. I reckon it will take some time for Everton to go through a transition. Or they need to back Martinez with the money for a few players, and that's unlikely to happen.

I'm feeling fairly certain that they won't be anywhere near as high in the table next season!
