Roberto Martinez has blamed the photographer for the picture of Aaron Lennon that gave the impression he was unhappy signing for Everton on loan.
He is very happy - I would blame the photographer because it is their job to make him produce a nice smile!' said Martinez.
'But I saw a different face - a focused face, of someone who is ready to train and to perform.
'It has been great to see the way Aaron has adjusted, because when you sign a player in January, it is very difficult to find someone who is up to speed with the league and their match fitness.
'He is fully fit and ready to make an impact as part of the squad for the weekend.
'We are delighted, and I know there has been a lot said about the pictures - I will chase the photographer because I wasn't happy with that at all!'

Oh they are going to be happy.
Romelu Lukaku has come out and said that he has a desire to play at a top club

Well as poorly as he appears to be playing this season, he has still scored close to 25% of Everton's goals in the league this season.
Throw in the fact that their next highest goalscorer has also hinted that he would be up for a move and it is a nice distraction for the rest of us
Do think there is a hell of a player in Lukaku though and it was no fluke that he managed 15 goals from 31 games in the league last season and 17 goals from 35 games in the league the season before. Those are pretty impressive goal stats for a guy who is currently 21 years of age.
The £28m price tag came way too early in his career imo, but he could be a handy buy for someone if Everton have to take a loss on him and flog him for between £16m and £20m.Last edited by Doc_Piptorious; 13-02-15, 05:59 PM.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
