I was speaking to an Everton fan at work this morning, was talking about the signings they've made so far and the money from Stones and possibly Lukaku.

He was like "Yeah we've got most of the Stones money left and a £300m transfer kitty for January."

I don't speak to too many Everton fans on a daily basis but surely they're not all like this.

Mate I've had to really reign it in! In fact been close to deleting a few off them

One went on a bizzare rant slagging Liverpool fans for slating pogba and sterling, because they both scored yesterday somehow proves that they are the best players in the world and their previous performances no longer matter

Another attacked the Suarez and Barcelona connection and attacked reds for liking Barcelona and celebrating their titles hahah

Another one seen somewhere that there was a few empty seats and tickets for sale and slated having a new stand saying "what a good idea that was"

Now I don't know what the attendance was, but I was there, there were a few empty seats, but we are talking a few, prob a couple hundred at most dotted about....the place looked packed, certainly not empty, and I'm convinced there would have been over 50k, which we obviously wouldn't have fitted in last year

It might just be me, but the fume seems even more intense this year

The attendance yesterday was 53 109 which is definitely more than 44,600 or so typical of the previous configuration.

I could see a few in lower centenary from my view in upper main stand....but I mean like a few and to be honest that was early on in the game so probably filled up with people being late
