Not sure why they are bothering with a new stadium. Well obviously Goodison is a state but they have a solid 35k fans and that's about it, not to mention will always be the second team in the city. They might fill it for a year or so and a few thousand might stay but what then? Who's gonna turn up to watch a **** team play? This could be a huge financial burden and they certainly won't be able to afford improving the team too.

Hopefully they do a Darlington, can't be bothered with these anymore as amazing as the winner there felt.

The more I hear about it I just can't see them being in it within the next 4 years if it is the dock,so far they haven't agreed a price to buy the land from peel,the design for the stadium isn't ready,no finance in place for stadium,and until they come up with the design they won't know the cost anyway and also they will have to put the job out to tender.i Actually think it will be a bigger job than a lot people relise,besides the actual stadium build itself I think there will have to be a lot of work done on the foundations and some of the dock will have to be filled in,also I think they will have to keep the dock wall along regent road in place as I think it is listed.as far as I know some of the dockwall dates back to French prisoners of war from the days of Napoleon.
