Everton eye Leeds' Marcelo Bielsa as potential Marco Silva replacement
EXCLUSIVE: Silva got Everton owner Farhad Moshiri's public backing last week but Bielsa is a target if the axe does fall

No chance Bielsa goes there. He'd be a decent shout for the Spurs job should Pochettino depart.
There's a lot of work to do there. Mourinho would actually suit them. Full of bile and hatred for a fanbase full of hatred. He'd turn them toxic for sure. Wouldn't want someone like Wagner going there.

I don't follow them that closely, but why do they want rid of him?
The reality of their situation is that they are playing for 7th place, until they either spend big on players to elevate them above that or they develop players from their youth team and can keep hold of them. Koeman and Allardyce and they finished 7th and 8th but got sacked (probably because of style of play rather than results), but alot of their fans wanted rid of Moyes when he got the Man Utd job and he was probably the best they have had since the 80's. What are their expectations?
Ok at the moment they are behind Wolves and Watford for that spot, but this is Silva's first season in charge if he's the manager they wanted then they need to give him a chance to develop his squad (I thought that was part of the appeal of Silva). There's little difference between finishing 7th and 8th or 9th if they think that he can move the club forward. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Chairman does seem a bit trigger happy with managers.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostWould they really sack Silva? Moshiri identified him as his main candidate, it'd be a pretty big admission to say he got it wrong this early.
They'd also be paying off 3 managers at the same time!
Which is helpful.Oh I don't know.

Can get 250/1 on them going down. I can't see them getting points from any games other than Fulham away and Burney at home. Next three are away to Cardiff, home to us, away to Newcastle.
