Anybody that thought at the time this was a good appointment needs their head examined. This was an inevitable conclusion from the day he signed, though he did last longer than I thought he would; I thought it would have been all over by Christmas.

No doubt that Rafa is finished as a top flight manager.

Wish it could have lasted another week and the transfer window was nearly closed SLAMMED SHUT.

I guess he may well have gone sooner if they had not got the win v Arsenal but if they lost that too they would be so deep deep deep in the doo doo.

Makes the sale of Digne interesting, player supposedly loved the club but fell out with Benitez, he's sold and a week later Benitez is sacked
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

His links to us made it a toxic appointment that was a nly ending one way. The problem at Everton isn't the manager though, they have had alot of decent managers last few years and constantly under performed.
