Makes the sale of Digne interesting, player supposedly loved the club but fell out with Benitez, he's sold and a week later Benitez is sacked
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

His links to us made it a toxic appointment that was a nly ending one way. The problem at Everton isn't the manager though, they have had alot of decent managers last few years and constantly under performed.Originally posted by BootRoom View PostAnybody that thought at the time this was a good appointment needs their head examined. This was an inevitable conclusion from the day he signed, though he did last longer than I thought he would; I thought it would have been all over by Christmas. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
