The problem with docking points is there would need to a be a threshold it crossed. You couldn't dock points for a single person as it would definitely be used as a weapon by fans of other teams. So where do you set that level? 50? 100? Proportional to the capacity/attendance?

True, it is a complicated one.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostThe problem with docking points is there would need to a be a threshold it crossed. I think what Buzzo said about banning any fans identified needs to happen too.
Then the clubs need to do all they can within reason to prevent it happening in the first place (I honestly don't think Everton did). And supporters need to be scared enough to not invade the pitch.

If getting caught meant a lifetime stadium ban, then you are going to think twice.
I don't blame them, same as City as you say we'd probably do the same. Unfortunately though, it gives some overly emotional undesirables a chance to get up close and personal with certain opposition players and staff .... which is never going to end well & is dangerous in the tribal world of football.

Middlesborough banned for life the father of a kid who ran on the pitch during their play off game because the dad encouraged him. Reckon the dad must be feeling pretty stupid nowOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post

They can't get rid of all the dead wood because they can't afford to replace them with anyone better.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostTwitter saying they have offered Jonjoe Kenny a new 3 year contract. I guess they ain't shifting their deadwood after all
They'll do well to stay up again next year.
