For some reason I doubt that. I doubt that even the **** paper would care about a player that don't exist.

It's a nothing story but regardless I really hope it's not Andy Carroll.

Shock horror, one or two young men who have far too much money & free time end up taking a line or two of coke. I mean its not something we should really be encouraging in athletes of any sort, but its hardly worth getting the pitchforks out over either. Imo anyway.
Depends on when he took it. If he used it and it is still in his body when he played a game then he got an unfair advantage. You get more focused a short time etc.

It also depends on who it is. If it a big star then it is a part of why he paid very much money to keep himself out of the news in a way like this. It would show a lack of respect for the club because he will play worse if he use it. As I said, he could play better but only if he isn't using it to much.

Trust me Arn, I've played Sunday League on coke, pills, dope, cigarettes and alcohol and I didn't have *any* unfair advantage. Believe me I didn't suddenly become more focused and suddenly have an 'enhanced performance' over the opposition.

One question. What should the club do, Liverpool FC, if one of our players was found out using it?

It would show a lack of respect for the club and it would also show that he isn't fully focused on the football bit.

As I said in my previous post. The players get paid a lot of money to keep themselves out of the news in a way like this. The club may lose a lot of money and even sponsorship deals if a big name player is found out.

It is their responsibility to be good role models so the club can use them in marketing campaigns etc.

I hope you didn't use it all at the same time.

It's really crazy that cocaine etc. is on the drug list considering how we see it in every other aspect of society! I never smoked or drank anything that helped me perform physically, oh to the contrary - the games where you just have to run to the nearest bush to throw up are just a pain

I am suprised so many people got so f'ed up the night/day before playing. I always try to have a quiet one the day before a game to make sure it was as good/fun as possible.

Pub teams over here are ridiculous - or at least mine was. I used to go to the pub at 11am on a Saturday, drink in there for 12 hours before "having a wander" elsewhere and putting all sorts up my nose into the bargain. Many times I'd find myself back at the pub at 7am, still out, walk back home to get my boots/shin pads, back to the pub where we'd meet then on to our Sunday morning game.

I'm not setting my life on hold because of a lower league game on sunday morning

If you are at a good party having a laugh with your mates, it's just silly going home early just because you are playing what is essentially a run out for fun and the social aspect. It's not like my income is dependent on it - thank god

I remember having a discussion with Gary Charles ( apt name) about Collymore when he was at the Brits, he was coked off his nut and arguing with Ulrika. I asked him how he gpot away with it, he just said I miss training and pay a 20k fine.......

not sure if its that easy nowadays though!! But 5/10 years ago coke was rife in the premiership dont have the same circle now so wouldnt know nowadays.

We play on saturday arvo's which probably makes it easier because then we can go out sat night and drown our sorrows/celebrate. and we don't do much on friday nights here normally anyway... Best thing is we can then kick on late enough to catch the game while at the pub.
