I picked two sentences from a four sentence post! Hardly ignoring paragraph after paragraph.Originally posted by Alex View PostYour not really being fair to him there Chris. Your picking one line in a whole post. Take the post for what it means, instead of de-constructing it piece by piece.

One thing I really like about Adam is the way he can run onto a ball at pace and catch much faster players flat footed - his surging runs are an excellent part of his game. I also like the way he'll 'have a go' when other players prefer to play it safe - he's clearly a very confident character who backs himself. Even if what he tries doesn't always come off, you have to respect that mentality. I actually think Henderson could do with taking a leaf or two from Adam's book.
There's still plenty of room for improvement, but his recent displays have been a big step in the right direction. He seems to be developing a good understanding with Lucas.
I also think we'd see more from Adam if we had a pacy striker capable of playing off the shoulder. Also, his cross field passes would be perfect for putting a class winger 1-1 with his fullback.
Hey, has anyone else been totally underwhelmed with his corners so far? They were ****ing shocking against City!K ris90210

Agreed, I think thats an advantage he's got over Henderson and Downing at the moment and why he's settled better, he doesnt let things get to him and always wants the ball. Will take charge when we are struggling etc.Originally posted by kris90210 View PostOne thing I really like about Adam is the way he can run onto a ball at pace and catch much faster players flat footed - his surging runs are an excellent part of his game. He seems to be improving which is all you can ask really and while not exactly a youngster he is still very inexperienced at this level so hopefully theres a lot more to come.
And yeah the corners have been crap lately.
