Yes he was probably not good enough, but we had far worse players last season. Move on guys, he did his best for us.

He's another player, like Downing, who mentally can't hack it at a bigger club. Good luck to him at Stoke, it's about his level.

I thought Downing got more abuse last season, the games i went to anyway. With Adam though, its frustration we all know Downing is pure turd where I actually think Adam is quite a talented player, he just has so many deficincies to his game.....Another player who goes being a regular score elsewhere ( 1in 3 for Blackpool) to scoring 2 in 37 for us and his assists were pure garbage.

Former footballer Charlie Adam dies suddenlyThe former footballer Charlie Adam has died suddenly. He was 50 years old.

Tayside Police said they were called to Grampian Gardens in Dundee at about 18:30 on Monday following the death.

There were no suspicious circumstances but a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

As a midfielder, Mr Adam played with clubs including Dundee United and Partick Thistle. His son Charlie is a Scotland international and plays for Stoke City.
