when you see him running jogging around the pitch he looks like a slightly taller oompah lumpah. his legs look too short, proportion wise, for his body.

nb, this does not excuse his poor play.

Sahin looks like the player we all wanted Charlie Adam to be.

I actually think he would be a very good signing for a team outside the top 6 or so. Surprised our hands havent been bitten off yet tbh (if he is for sale).

Adam's set piece delivery has been shocking that's for sure. Someone like Everton will be a good move for him IMO & i reckon he'll do fairly well there. He has talent, but he has to be played in a specific role which is completely devoid of all defensive responsibility, been saying this for ages. If he is played close to goal he will get a high level of production like he has the last two seasons, as that left foot of his is a cannon.

I never minded Adam as much as some and wouldn't mind if he was kept as a squad player but he does not suit of setup. Although i do feel he'll do well elsewhere & no doubts his set pieces will somehow drastically improve again!!!!

It's so weird, he does have a lovely left foot on him but he over cooks his set pieces more often than not, it was one thing that i think we all thought was a banker when we signed him!

Anyways looks like we'll prob get rid of him, guarantee the bloke gets a rake of assists and scores goals too elsewhere, having that left foot closer to goal makes sense to me, and another team might utilise his assets a bit better within their system.

Maybe its just me, but I thought for the first 70 minutes he was our best player, but then ....then he dropped of dramatically ... nearly cost us 2 goals because he was just trotting about like it was a Sunday game with his pub maters

He didn't have a bad game by his standards but it was still not enough to leave a positive mark.

As you said he nearly cost us few goals and you cannot help but question his decision making at both sides of the pitch.

In the first half and in the second as well he took couple shots when he had an open player in better more advanced position when it would have been better if he had passed the ball.

Charlie is a good player for a mid table team in PL with no desire to challenge for any trophies but for us he isn't good enough, not even for the bench.

The earlier we sell him the better it will be for him and us.

I'd rather put Suso on the bench then have him there.
