    I suspect Gary Neville and Robbie Fowler would be the worse offenders.

      True, I had forgotten about that.

      Gerrard and Rooney seem quite friendly so I'd imagine that helps bridge the gap now. I would imagine the problems with England would have been when we both had a few players who had come through the ranks in the England squad.
      The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
