Probably been said a few hundred times already, but David Silva is ****ing awesome. I'd much prefer him to Fabregas, I think Barca should've got him last summer. I also seriously believe he would've been a Liverpool if we had better owners back then.

True enough Craig, it all depends on the groups etc. but at best we have a long shot and getting through the group stages.

If they are using the FIFA rankings for the seeding, it means going up against two very strong teams that will be favorites for going through. It's not really like the WC where group stages is still filled with some real dross.

Ukraine & Poland will both be top seeds, along with Holland and Spain. So we'll get 2 horribly tough groups and 2 relatively easy ones. Everyone will want to be drawn in the same group as one of the host nations.

True Poland would be a dream draw for any 3rd (Denmark) or 4th seeded team and Ukraine the next best thing. Croatia is probably the weakest of the 1st and 2nd seeded lot.
